Last Saturday, I joined some of the more experienced SUCC paddlers for an early(ish) morning paddle on the Upper Dart. It was at a nice medium level, which was a great introduction for those who hadn’t done the river before, such as Jo whom I led down. She paddled really well and managed Pandora’s Box.

Andy and I then blasted down the Loop in our Magnums; saying hi to the masses of people there for the Gene 17 weekend and playing on the wave (clean spinning a Magnum – oh yeh!) – before jumping off the water at lunchtime and heading back to Southampton for another xmas party. This time we? ended up in the Frog and Friggit for some dancing on tables to the? sound of? a guitarist playing under the stairs! Brilliant!
