Friday, December 1st? was Southampton Uni Canoe Club’s xmas party – starting with a meal and ending with dancing in Jesters. It was a bit strange being at “someone else’s” canoe club dinner, as it’s usually me giving out the silly awards and making the speaches! All very similar though, so I felt pretty at home; students are students and paddlers are paddlers… which will usually mean a top night out!
It was my first time to Jesters and it wasn’t half as bad as people made out, although the music was like a slab of cheddar, sprinkled with parmesan.

Quite ironically, as I write this Aber Uni CC are on their Xmas Dinner and Jackie has? just text me to say that I was being missed. It seems the feeling is mutual.
