We Are Scientists

About 3pm? Tuesday afternoon, one of my housemates? Dan Slipper? sent me a message asking if I wanted to see We Are Scientists that evening. We had no tickets and the gig was sold out. Seemed like a great idea!

So after work? Dan and I? headed down to Southampton, along with Caroline Fletcher (another housemate). We bought 3 tickets from 3 different people; one at less than face value! After a swift drink in town we made our way into the Guildhall for two pretty random support acts (3 girls with keyboards that sounded like a school music lesson and a duet also heavily featuring a keyboard and some really bad harmonies).

Caz and Dan

We Are Scientists came on stage to Phil Collins (what better way to start a? gig?)? and proceeded to rock the house, between random and hilarious witterings. I’d recommend seeing WAS purely for comedy value…

The best nights out are often the ones that you don’t know about!
