October 31st, Halloween. My birthday – explain a few things? Perhaps.
This weekend I went to the Teifi Tour (a big event in South Wales for Uni Canoe Clubs). Friday and Saturday hosted much drunken madness in a mud surrounded marquee:

Somehow, the ever amazing Jackie had? managed? to look after 4 cakes, found a big plate and candles? and I was presented with it? late on Saturday night.? I was sung to? by the whole marquee 
? 
Saturday we paddled the Tawe:

? 
Sunday we did an ‘urban’ run of the Rhondda: 
? Beautiful.
We also did a quick slide down the Clyddach Gorge as it got dark, which was great fun!

Tuesday was my ‘real’ birthday. I was taken for a lovely meal by my grandparents and Mum at Hotel du Vin in Winchester.
